Intercultural activity by promoting the traditions and cultural customs of the ethical communities in Dobrogea, in order to raise awareness and remove barriers of any kind.

12. PURPOSE The main objective of the project is to: Awareness and elimination of image / prejudice barriers so that students understand the positive and negative aspects and make their own contribution to improving the educational process at European level.
13. OBJECTIVES
- Raising awareness and eliminating barriers, images / prejudices
- developing intercultural, social and communication relationships between teachers and pupils;
- developing a better understanding of students, and the capacity to react to social, linguistic and cultural diversity;
- promoting the cultural and traditional values of the ethnic communities
14. DEVELOPMENT OF ACTIVITY
The activity took place in a climate of friendship and mutual respect. The students presented the traditional dishes of the ethnic community they belonged to and brought to the audience some of the specific traditional dances and songs. They have found many similarities between traditional and culinary habits and have exchanged views and constructive ideas. Each group presented their traditional costume and some of their customs. The communities were represented by the group's tutors and played an important role in promoting and supporting the cultural-traditional aspects of the ethnic groups concerned.

IMPACT The partnership between different ethnic groups in the area contributes to the widening of the students' knowledge horizon, by observing the specific traditional aspects, enabling the knowledge of this cultural aspect, helping to develop the interest in knowing, respecting and promoting the ethical cultures and traditions in order to create a climate of mutual understanding and respect.

We invited a lawyer to our school to talk about human rights and prejudice.Students asked questions about these topics .In this way we could raise consciousness about these topics.
In our school we prepared a prejudice free zone board.Students hung their prejudices on this board , recycled them and hung positive behaviors on the one side of this board.

The International Confernce about Didactics and Methodics in Ljubljana (MIB)
The Slovenian coordinator together with other professionals contributed on two conferences. First they introduced the aims of our project (in November 2016) and in 2017 they discussed how they provide and mantain motivation for the project work and on the other hand how the project activities provide motivation for other school work. Her is the PP presentation from the Conference about motivation.

12. PURPOSE The purpose of the activity is to raise awareness and eliminate barriers / images / prejudices of any kind and to develop a better understanding of our pupils, to develop the capacity to respond to social, linguistic and cultural diversity.
13. Main Objective: The main objective of intercultural education lies in preparing people to perceive, accept, respect, and experience alterity. Making intercultural education implies that the educational process itself should be realized in an interactive environment by putting together or facing the bearers of different cultural expressions.
14. SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

- Developing intercultural, social and communication relationships between teachers and students;
- developing a better understanding of students, and the capacity to respond to social, linguistic and cultural diversity;

15. DEVELOPING THE ACTIVITY
Education inter- and multicultural represent new dimensions of education for training at school of a European consciousness, cultivating respect and solidarity with other peoples' culture, the development of behaviors and attitudes inter and multicultural, involving simultaneous affirmation of each culture with its own specific but also opening up to other cultures, with a view to creating a new common civilization.
Conceiving and approaching education from this dual perspective leads to the formation of specific behaviors:
- the ability to communicate effectively;
- Strengthening self-respect and others' respect;
- tolerance of different opinions;
- continuous adaptation to the diversity of culture;
- harnessing cultural differences and spiritual, local and general values for personal and social benefit;
- Recognition of cultural value equality.

17. IMPACT
The communication and socialization skills, the promotion and preservation of cultural identity are the objectives of contemporary education. At the same time, the knowledge of the history and culture of ethnicity sharing the same territory leads directly to the formation of tolerant spirit and the discouraging of the discriminatory one.
Consequently, by implementing this project, we aim to achieve these goals.
The proposed activities develop the interest and facilitate the social identification of the child, awakening his consciousness and helping him feel an integral part of the social community he is part of. The partnership between different ethnic groups in the area contributes to broadening the students' knowledge horizon by observing the specific traditional aspects, allows the knowledge of this cultural aspect, helps to develop the interest in knowing, respecting and promoting the traditions and cultural aspects in order to create a climate of mutual understanding and respect.
Students have the opportunity to form and capitalize on their skills in the field of creativity, relationship. By developing the activities, a climate of understanding, tolerance, and emphatic communication has been created.
18. CONTINUITY / SUSTAINABILITY OF THE PROJECT
This activity is in the 2nd edition and has been successful among students and teachers. Diversifying activities and bringing together several ethnic groups each year aims to raise awareness of ethnic diversity in the North Dobrogean area, and the formation of integral personalities, compatible in the European context.

Each Participant Ethnic Group and Teachers Participating in the Activity were provided with Participation / Appraisal Certificates, Collaboration Protocols were also concluded for the continuation and development of other community activities within the local / regional project.
